One word: AMAAAAZING! I was at first skeptical about this book and thought it would be another young adult corny middle of america type of book. After the first feww pages i unexpectedly fell in love with this book. It was unfreakingbelievable. I think every teenage girl should read this book...like today. It made me laugh, want to cry, then laugh again and i genuienly fell in love with all the characters....one of the best I've read.

This book is delicious. Look, I was mildly interested in the plot, and it was on some list, so I thought, sure... I was wary that it would be too soap-operay. And so it would have been, in anyone else's hands. Jandy Nelson is a poet, and it shows not only in the striking poems at the beginning of each chapter, but also in her prose. It's absolutely beautiful to read. I sat down and read it all in one sitting, not caring that it was sunny outside. When I finished, I went back and started reading my favorite parst again. Oh! The characters are all so wonderful and complex! And there is HUMOR! Even in the darkest, angstiest parts, I was cracking up about something.

I thought this book was great! It was full of emotions and although its not usually my kind of book, I enjoyed it alot. There was romance, grief and humour, and was definatly a page turner!

I heard they were making a movie of this (fantastically good) book and that Selena Gomez was up for the role...

Amazing. Not normally my kind of thing at all..why would you enjoy books which are depressing? But this isn't at all, its funny and sad and bursting emotions from the seams. I loved how it was so real and Lennie was making mistakes because everyone does that in life :D

After the death of her older sister Bailey, Seventeen Year old Lennie falls into grief. She shares it with Toby- her sister’s boyfriend and Joe- a new guy at school who is full of fun. I’m sure if you like sad romance and comedy (sort of) this is the book for you, but it wasn’t really my kind of book.

not bad; a bit different from what I expected. disliked how lennie had to find solace of her sister's death through her sister's boyfriend-- I personally cannot understand how she would be able to do something like that. really loved how all the poems tied everything together though.

When her fiery older sister Bailey dies abruptly, seventeen-year-old Lennie, bookworm and band geek, is catapulted to center stage of her own life -and, despite her nopnexistent history with boys, suddenly finds herself struggling to balance two. Toby was Bailey's boyfriend; his grief mirrors Lennies's own. Joe is the new boy in town, a transplant from Paris whose nearly magical grin is matched only by his musical talent. For Lennie, they're the sun and the moon; one boy takes her out of her sorrow, the other comforts her in it. But just like their celestial counterparts, they can't collide without the whole world exploding.

"Morning, John Lennon," Joe says, looking up from his guitar strings and throwing me a jaw-dropping grin -what am I doing making out with Toby, Bailey's Toby, I think as I smile back at the holy horsed unfreakingbelievable Joe Fontaine, who has seemingly moved into our kitchen. Things are so mixed up -the boy who should kiss me acts like a brother and the boy who should act like a brother keeps kissing me. Sheesh.
