Kalona has released his hold on Rephaim, and, through Nyx's gift of a human form, Rephaim and Stevie Rae are finally able to be together - if he can truly walk the path of the Goddess and stay free of his father's shadow... But there are new forces at work at the House of Night. An influx of humans, including Lenobia's handsome horse whisperer, threatens their precarious stability. And then there's the mysterious Aurox, a jaw-droppingly gorgeous teen boy who is actually more - or possibly less - than human. Only Neferet knows he was created to be her greatest weapon. But Zoey can sense the part of his soul that remains human, the compassion that wars with his Dark calling. And there's something strangely familiar about him."--Provided by publisher.

Add a CommentThese books are always pretty captivating. There is always something new in each book but the main plot of the story is the same. The characters are very relate-able and developed. A great series but I'm just wondering when and how it will end.
I keep hoping that in the next book they're gonna have a giant battle with Neferet or something, but no. Just more of her random creations and plots getting foiled all to prove that she's crazy, which we already knew. I hope that the next book moves the plot along more, because I'm getting tired of waiting for something more interesting to happen than just then preparing to battle evil for the good of mankind or whatever. If they're gonna do that then it should've happened in this book, or at least started to happen. This is getting depressing. -___-
I'm sorry I got lost. I tried to keep reading but every time I did I got bored. I don't know what those casties were doing but this book wasn't as good as I expected. Too bad I was looking forward to reading it :(
Kill the books already! TOO LONG! Harry Potter just had seven and is one of the most important books of my generation and the last generation! Of the 20th century infact. Again, I think Destined is a huge flop! Compared to the others, this is the worst. Too dry if you ask me. AND too predictable. Anyways, I love the whole series and re read them in a week just for Destined and I was disappointed. Hope the next one is better!
I LOVED reading this book and I can't wait for the next one. I have already started reading the whole series over again while I wait for it.
I really like the first few books in this series but its getting really redunant. How many times can these kids battle some new Neferet creation before someone figures out that the chick is whacked out of her mind? I just finished this latest book and it wasnt that great. First off, whats with all the horrible grammer? I know the characters are kids and have their own lingo but its horrible to read. All the aints, and gonnas, and crap, its aweful! And Why keep throwing out these unnecessary subplots, just get to a point already! If the now inevitable next book isnt more action packed and clear, I am giving up on the series. Im tired of wasting the time and money for mediocre books.
this is so good but it is long i want it to end... is that bad....
I have read all the books. This one is great and cannot wait for the next one.
Amazing Book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stark and Zoey are the perfect couple!
