Lady Gaga has really outdone herself here. Born This Way is a crazy, this-is-what-I-am-esque songs that will make you want to bop your head to. However, by fligning herself so out of her old style of music, I suspect that mainstream listeners will be a little turned off by most of the songs in this album, such as Bad Kids, Heavy Metal Lover (which I couldn't even finish). I loved Bloody Mary but all the other songs were just not for a mainstream radio hit fan like me. Her little monsters will rush for this album, but her random 'I liked Bad Romance and Just Dance' fans would probably not go as far as to buy this album. ScheiBe was a pretty awesome song, I must admit, in which Gaga tries rapping, which somewhat works (in a Gaga way, of course.) Little Monsters: Borrow/buy. Mainstream Fans: Try it, but stick with The Fame and The Fame Monster. Everyone else: Hate it, or love it.
I really like Born This Way. It's a great cd for pop music fans. It has some great upbeat songs. One of Lady Gaga's best Cds.
I think its ok to be "different" and all that. But I think Lady Gaga has just taken it to a whole new level. And im not so crazy about it.... BORN THIS WAY is a very inspiring song though :D

I have been a fan from day one. She's awesome. My favs are Gov't Hooker, Scheibe, Bloody Mary, Heavy Metal Lover, Electric Chapel, You & I... I better stop or I will type them all in!
Stefani sings about hookers, crucifixions, her hair (above and below), non-stop drinking, unicorns, and has 'Gaga' repeated by a satanic sounding chorus on at least 4 songs. The music is ok (with three above average songs). Best songs, by far, are 'Scheisse', for pop sensibility, and 'Marry the Night', for pure, raw uplifting energy.
