luved the series!!! my favourite character was Damon SPOILER!!! i can't believe Damon dies.. i felt like killing the author!! soo sad. i wanted Elena to go with him:(
The "The Return" portions of the Vampire Diaries are just getting worse and worse. They're poorly written and extremely rushed. There seems to be no rational reason why the characters are behaving the way that they do. I loved the early books of the series, but after the last 3 I think I'll just have to put any future installments my 'do not read' list.
The newest book in the series. I couldn't wait to get my hands on this title. Met my expectations and more. It's one of those fantasy fiction books that just pulls you in, and you can't stop thinking about the characters and what will happen next. It is probably the best so far in the Vampire Diaries. Great job L.J.! I'm looking forward to see what is in store for Elena and Bonnie, Stephen, Meredith, and Matt etc. Damon really is a sweetheart under all that. Great read! I think I will reread this soon.

i love the series and am waiting for this one but l.j wanted to take it in the direction of damon and elena together and the publishers didnt so there hiring a ghostwriter to complete the series
