this was a good book, but I liked beastly better
This book was just a bit too "teen" for my liking. The main character just didn't seem to be able to put two and two together. I wish teens got a bit more credit. It was still fun and I liked all the obscure fairytale tie-ins.
I disagree with the negative comments? What are you reading?!?! I loved Cloaked more than Beastly. I love how Flinn incorparated all the fairy tales together! It was beautifully written and I super appreciate a good book that isn't twilight!
I completely loved this book. I completely love this author and i highly reccommend this book. It was a very happy read, at times suspenseful when need be and I mean from beginning to end i was hooked on this book. i really loved the way she incorporated all the different fairy tales and intertwined them ever so perfectly. GO READ IT! I don't agree with any of the comments here. I've read quite a few of Flinn's books, and this is one of my favorites.
I liked Beastly better, and becasue I liked it so much better, this one was just average.

i love Alex Flinn, and usually her books blow me away, but this one was kind of disappointing. there was just so much going on from so many different fairytales, some of which i had never heard of. It was very complicated.
I really love this author and I really love some of her other books. But this one was very,very VERY bad.Not just for her but for all of the books I have read. Like really Alex Flinn, did you actully think this book was good. I hope you write snthor book thats actully good and not like junk.
I wasn't very impressed with this book. It was discombobulated. I LOVED Beastly and really liked A Kiss In Time, so I'm sad that Cloaked was so disappointing. Hopefully Alex Flinn can redeem herself with another fairytale retelling if she so chooses to write one.
