Summary
Add a SummaryNumber Four and Henri are Lorics and have been living on the run from the Mogadorians for a decade. When they move into the small town of Paradise, Ohio, things start to happen. Number Four ("John") falls in love with a girl named Sarah (who, by the way, is a human), he starts developing his Legacies, and the Mogadorians are locking in on him. Number 1, 2, and 3 are all dead, killed by the Mogadorians - and Number 4 is next.

We are stronger and faster than anything you have ever seen. We are the superheroes you worship in movies and comic books--but we are real. Our plan was to grow, and train, and become strong,and become one, and fight them. But they found us and started hunting us first. Now all of us are running. Spending our lives in shadows, in places where no one would look, blending in. We have lived amoung you without you knowing. But they know. They caught Number One in Malaysia. Number Two in England. And Number Three in Kenya. They killed them all. I am number Four. I am next.

Violence: They're aliens..who are being hunted. Of course there's violence! ;)

Violence: Bullying, teen violence, mild/psychological torture, teens and adult figures involved in to-the-death graphic fights with frightening evil aliens, their weaponry, and their beasts.
Sexual Content: Kissing and mild petting that might have turned into something more had the teens involved not been interrupted

i liked the story and idea of the 9 lorien children but i didnt really like the way the author connected it. the power of six is better.
So very promising, but aside from the possibilities, this book....isn't too great. Ghost writers and complaining about girlfriends does not equal a good read friends. Hunt elsewhere.
A great book; I could not put it down. 'The Power Of Six,' book 2, is next and book 3,'The Rise of Nine,' will be published August 12, 2012. Doctor-at-Bass! T. A.
This book was very well written, I thoroughly enjoyed it, looking forward the next one in line, I think it's called #6
I'm sick of this book. This book was great at first but slowly started to get boring. The author just put too much in this book...sorry...other than that it was ...nice...ish
Love the plot and the whole idea of the story. It's just that I didn't really like how the author fit it all together.
Really good book, I have seenr the movie before I read the book, but when I read the book it was really interseting than the movie
