Add a CommentA fun read. Like the twist on Red Riding Hood and company, and especially that the Fenris were one-dimensional, ruthless, unfeeling things. The Fenris lure, deceive and eat girls - especially pretty, flirty ones, it seems - but I don't (thankfully) detect any irritating misogynistic commentary, i.e. girls that dress/act a certain way should expect the wrong kind of attention and not be surprised when they do. Also, this version could make a wicked graphic novel in the style of the cover.
Loved it, very fun read :)
Very compelling and enjoyable read. I highly recommend it to those who love a novel with action as well as a tinge of romance.
Fantastic book!!!
i liked it. i think Jackson Pearce is a good author.
pearce is amazing. her style is great and she keeps your attention. the stories are great and i need to get my hands on the next one.
omg this is such a good book! jackson pearce is a really talented writer, to those of you who haven't read any of her books.
Very good. I thought the whole consept of this book was unique and inspiring. Not in the way that I'm inspired to go out and hunt Fenris now, but the bond between Rosie and Scarlett. Very suspensful, exciting, and action packed. There is also a love story in the book. Everything ties together nicely, the book flows from one moment to the next, even when you don't expect what will happen next.
Fantastic book! I am usually a little put off by werewolves/vampires because they are so overused that the books are rarely any good. But this is definitely an exception!
I was really starting to think the whole mystical creatures bit is over used, but this book made me want more! It carries all the way through, and doesn' thave any of those boring spots that you f ind in a lot of books, I definitly reccomend it!
