I do not like the way they wrote this. Going back and forth between so many people. It makes the whole thing brag on. But of course I HAVE to read it because I'm to into the story, and I need to know what happens!

Wow, great book! It was given to me by a friend for Christmas... and I couldn't thank her more! Great choice, M! Anyways, like some of you have said the first few chapters of the book are kinda slow, but once you get into the whole love triangle with Stevie Rae, Dallas, and Rephaim its hard to get the book out of your hands. Too bad about Dallas though, I thought he was gonna be with her. In summary, the book is deff something I`d reccomend to the avid romance-fiction readers. :)

I am waiting in anticipation for the next book.I found the beginning to be a bit slow but then it really started to pick up. Plus I love the relationship between Stevie Rae and you-know-who. Definitely worth waiting for in my opinion.

The language is getting worse as the books go on. The characters in this book talk like 12 year olds who just learned how to use curse words. Everything is repetitive and explained over and over like the readers are at the 7th grade reading level. They used a lot of slang that they think is used in real life. The interaction between Stevie Rae and Rephaim is certainly the most interesting plot twist the authors have introduced, and this book is heavy on its development, with a lot of perspective from both characters. I enjoyed the storyline between Stevie Ray and Rephraim and look forward to reading more concerning them. *spoiler*What I didn't like or even understand was how what happened to Dallas happened so quickly...I was disappointed with that part. They seem able to jump back and forth between light and darkness as they wish. I really liked Dallas and didn't think that was fair. Also the rules kept changing to suite anyone and everyone - vampires performing wiccan rituals? Priestess, queens and goddesses made at will (I mean really!?!), "rules" changing at will as they serve the plotline, apparent domination of the world's cultural history is made by Vampyres. I strongly disliked *spoiler* seeing Heath say goodbye the most. He was my personal favorite and I was very upset that they killed him off. *Spoiler* He says he will find Zoey again when his soul gets reborn, will that be in the next book or 20 years from now? Not one word was spoken about how to tell his parents. They live in their own world where basic rules or manners don't seem to apply to them. The only good thing that came from Heath dieing was Zoey may not be such a $lut anymore, she's down to only Stark now. I loved the fact that there was more of Aphrodite and Darius, (though I don't really like the way she talked in this book) I missed seeing more of Damien and Jack (Erik seems to have moved off into adulthood with the teachers (where he belongs) thankfully there wasn't much from the twins because I can NOT stand the twin speak. I will read the next book but they are not getting better...books 1 to 4 are still the best yet.

Aphrodite met his eyes, feeling suddenly vulnerabe despite his gentle tone, "Seriously, I'm a bitch. You shouldn't like me. I dont think most people do." The people who know you like you. The real you. I love your strenght, your sense of humor, the depth of caring you show your friends and I love that which was broken inside you and is only now beginning to heal. - Darius to Aphrodite.
