Add a Commentthe whole plot theme has potential, but the writing is terrible. the first chapters have all these cliffhangers and they're only a page long. how can cliff hang something if you haven't even developed it? basically the first chapters are as jagged and bumpy as a road full of ruts. plus, the set up of the beginning is sketchy. how can a political party change a democracy to a dictatorship without anyone noticing? we aren't that stupid.the beginning is full of yelling and screaming and sarcastic lines that would be good if they were in a good place, and is just confusing and too fast. they're trying to create fast paced action and failing. i guess i'll just skip around and see if anything good can manage to happen. NOT a recommended read
Good book, I guess. Like other people are saying, a little disappointing after the Maximum Ride series. I didn't find it absolutely terrible though. Oh! And NovaHero and annettic, a lot of people don't like the book, but you might so you should at least read a bit of it.
